As keen fishermen ourselves at South Cottage we like to think that everyone enjoying the lakes and fishery will treat it as if there own, so common sense is to be used at all times.
The basic rules are below but there is nothing you would not expect to see !!! Fishery Rules - You must have a suitable landing net at all times when fishing
- You must use unhooking mats for larger fish
- Do not leave your rods unattended when your line is in the water
- Please carefully dispose of all litter including cigarette ends and tea bags
- Nuts or maize in small amounts please
- Barbless hooks only
- Maximum of two rods per fisherman
- No swimming in the lakes !!
- No treble hooks or snap tackle !!
- No beating my lake records !!
Chalet Rules - Please do not put sanitary wear or nappies down the toilet
- The chalet should be left as you found it for the next party
- Arrival time no earlier than 12.00hrs.
- Departure time no later than 10.00hrs.
- Please leave the chalet or rooms in good clean condition otherwise, you could be charged for the cleaning of the chalet or rooms
These rules are set out for the welfare of the fish and to ensure quality fishing for all our guests.
If you neglect to abide by these rules we reserve the right to ask you to leave the Fishery and you will lose your holiday.
