Are you looking for accommodation in an idyllic
setting or the peaceful setting on the waters bank
with great fishing, all yours for the length of your
stay? Then look no further!

On top of this you will have your very own lake of
around half an acre at you disposal.

The lakes were originally dug and stocked for our own private use only but we have desided to open up after so many requests locally. Both lakes are well stocked and are fed on a weekly basis with our own baits which have seen in one year over 2lb gains on mirror carp and 65lb gains on some of the catfish!!!.

The " Top " lake is our newest lake and only opened late September 2007

when we stocked the lake with the following fish :

Mirror Carp to 27lb+
Common Carp to 23lb+
Koi to 12lb+
Ghost Carp to 14lb+
Tench to 8lb+
There is also a good head of Bream , Roach , Rudd , Koi , Orfe as well as small stock levels of Trout , Perch , Catfish ( upto 15lb )

..... and who knows what else has found its way into there!.

The older " specimen " lake , which was stocked in 1996 by the previous owner was also worked on in October 2007 and December 2008.

As we have never drained this small lake we can not say for sure what is in there!!.

Although some of the fish has been taken from this lake to stock the newer lake.


We do know that there are the following species present :
Carp (Mirror, Common & Grass)  now  restocked and upto 29lb
Catfish        now upto and over 30lb , see below for breakdown
Tench       upto 8lb
Sturgeon  upto 7lb
Perch      now upto and over 3.5lb
Bream         upto 6lb
Golden Tench
Rudd
Roach
Golden Rudd
And also some ornimental fish including koi , Orfe , ghost Koi and Gold Fish.

We stocked 40 Catfish in the lake however 3 did not make it. this leave 37. 19 are 4-8lb ,
10 are 12-18lb and 8 are 24lb-31lb.

All this with a truly glorious setting and we are sure you will not be disappointed.

The property lies in its own grounds of over 3 acres surrounded by forestry trees and fields. There is plenty of space for the children to run and play or you can spend as much time as you would like fishing.


We are only around a 5 minute drive from the small village of Halwill which offers a newspaper shop , take away and local pub the Junction Inn which also offers good pub food . Or you can travel in less than 10 minutes to the larger village of Holsworthy which boast a small shopping town includes 4 takeaways  5 pubs / bars and a local super market of Somerfields.
